Osoria Digital was hired by Metropolitan School of Business and Management to help improve the visibility of their website for people searching for their services in Nigeria.

MSBM is innovating by bringing these same top-notch British Degrees to the comfort of everyone’s home at an affordable rate, while saving them the hassle and cost of visa applications, travel expenses, medical insurance expenses and others!
The Keywords
As you might imagine for an English-speaking country with a diverse population and many of its citizens looking to further their education abroad, Nigeria is home to some of the best brains in the entire world.
Our task was to find the right keywords used by searchers with a high intent to purchase. After our research phases, we identified keywords like:
- Online Business School in Nigeria
- Short Professional Courses in Nigeria
- Online PHD Programs in Nigeria
- Online Masters Degree in Nigeria
All we had to do is get Metropolitan School of Business and Management to appear in the top results for these searches, and their reputation for being the best would finally be reflected in their online presence.
The Campaign
After assessing their website and the website of their main competitors, our first task was to completely overhaul the SEO structure of content. Before we changed things up, their website pages contained no keyword strings, low keyword density, heavy images and sliders that reduced page load time and their blog section had news articles that were totally irrelevant to the needs and wants of their customers nor topical relevance to their industry.
This is a big no-no if you want to appear as an authority in your industry and in the eyes of search engines.
Our SEO team fixed all of these issues within the first week, laying a strong foundation for phase two of the campaign.
In phase two, our link-building team got to work on leveraging Metropolitan School of Business and Management expert reputation and getting them mentioned on some of the biggest media and Ed tech websites on Google.
